Our journey
Local roots, wider ambitions
How Pearces has grown
Pearces started out in a much simpler way, providing a man and van service and helping customers with smaller moves, collections and deliveries. Those early jobs gave us the opportunity to meet lots of different people, learn what customers really needed from a moving company and, most importantly, build our experience.
As the business grew, so did our ambitions. What started as a man and van service developed into a full removals company, taking on larger house moves and helping customers through the entire moving process.
From there, we saw that moving doesn't always happen in one straightforward step. Customers often need somewhere to keep their belongings between properties, which led us to develop storage solutions alongside our removals service.
We then began working more closely with businesses and saw another natural opportunity to grow. Today, business logistics forms an important part of Pearces, helping businesses with furniture, equipment, stock and transportation alongside our domestic removals work.
For us, the journey has always been about growing with our customers and finding practical ways to help them. What began with a van and a desire to provide a good service has grown into a wider removals, storage and logistics business — while keeping that same personal approach at the heart of what we do.
